MFL: French

Head of French: Mrs L Evison

Pupils who are at present successfully studying French should give careful consideration to the fact that a good knowledge of a modern European language would make them a valuable asset to a prospective employer.

Apart from the obvious advantage of being able to speak the language when on holiday in France, how else could you use what you have learnt at school?

When thinking about a career, the possession of a basic qualification in a foreign language will be an asset, especially since Britain's links with Europe are being improved daily.

Many commercial companies and industrial firms require people with a knowledge of a foreign language and the qualification itself shows a prospective employer that the candidate is capable of hard work and commitment.

FRENCH GCSE
