KS3 Student Voice

We recently got students in years 7, 8 and 9 to complete a survey about how they felt in their lessons. They were asked to judge 6 statements and say whether they Strongly agreed, agreed, disagreed or strongly disagreed with each of the statements, which were:

• I enjoy what I learn in my lessons
• I can understand the work that I am given in lessons
• I get written or spoken feedback on my learning in lessons and my work
• I know what I need to do to improve my work
• I am pleased with what I achieve in this lesson
• My skills in this subject are improving

We sampled students surveys from years 7, 8 and 9 with each year group contributing an average of 100 surveys based on what they though of the 6 statements in relation to their lessons. The following graphs show their thoughts about life in Ormesby School;
